Great summary! I use the A7S3, A7M4, and A7R5. Still have an older RX10iv in the closet! All bought used, along with most lenses. Sadly, the S3 is not getting much love, as the focus mapping is just too convenient on the newer models.

It’s been 6 years now since I’ve learned about the Gfx, that I’m waiting for a 645 sensor available for consumers.. I’ve lost hope. My Rz 110mm 2.8 and Pentax 105 2.4 are rotting on a shelf. My baveyes speed booster is good for the mamiya 80mm 1.9 but it’s very heavy and manual focus is kind of difficult at f1.9. However, I was never tempted by a totally slow camera like the gfx with a 0.8 crop. I still prefer to adapt MF lenses on Sony when I want that MF kinda look..

You should avoid shooting on many details of edges. Results will be better. Because many aperture mode using like a portrait mode on iphone so it has the same issue one edges.

As an m4-p user i might just have to get this seems slim and less intrusive.. as “less intrusive” as a flash can be on the streets lol🙌 thanks for the solid review.💪 shot you a follow on ig as well🫡

i love this 5 minutes challenge, learned a lot of things from this just one question, is it possible to give us the information about the camera and the lenses that the photographer used?

i just shot a private wedding party of my aunt and if you have to be quick to catch the moment a zoom definitely is the better choice, i am currently in the market for a 24GM 1.4 and a 35GM 1.4, would you choose the 28-45 1.8 over those 2 lenses?? how big is the difference between 24 and 28? for my gimbal use this lens would also come in handy, great photos and stunning location btw

The rate limiting step will be your ability to hit exact focus on an RF Leica body in low light. (Or LV, for that matter) You brought up this point on your video yourself. You need a microsope to find an optical winner. Is the finding relevant? Leica is not really a camera, it is a fetish.

Hi. Great vid. Very informative. 1 question. A have an A7C2 . When I tether it will only import shots into LR if I have it on destination only. If I try to have it on Destination and Card it doesn’t add the shot in LR. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks for any help

Just picked one up and love it although its quite a bit different than having a 50 in use. I think there is place for this and a 50 tbh It will defo replace my 35mm GM and help me to shoot 1 body for large parts of a wedding day.
